Depart Philadelphia. Stop in Norfolk, Port Canaveral, Grand Bahama, and NCL’s private Great Stirrup Cay. Train with the Skilsinho coaching staff. Come home with stories.
This isn't just a cruise. It's a full spring break experience designed for futsal families who want to combine world-class training with real adventure at sea.
We're sailing on the Norwegian Pearl, a 2,394-guest Norwegian Cruise Line ship with a multi-sport court on Deck 13, a rock-climbing wall, pools, and 16 dining venues including Moderno Churrascaria, NCL's Brazilian steakhouse. The ship is a natural fit for a Brazilian futsal group.
Schwan Travel Group is handling all the logistics, group rates, and cabin arrangements, so you can focus on the fun. Skilsinho Futsal Academy is designing the on-board programming, including training sessions led by Fred and Daniel and organized futsal activities throughout the voyage.
Spots are limited. This is a small-group experience by design.
9 days roundtrip from Philadelphia down the Eastern Seaboard and into the Bahamas, with two days at sea for on-board training and three port stops.
The Norwegian Pearl is a Jewel-class ship carrying up to 2,394 guests across 15 decks. Built in 2006 and sailing under Norwegian Cruise Line's Freestyle Cruising concept, she puts flexibility first: no set dining times, no formal dress codes, and more choices about how you spend each day than most ships her size.
For a group of futsal families, the Pearl checks a lot of boxes. The multi-sport court on Deck 13 is available for use throughout the sailing, there's a 30-foot rock-climbing wall, and the kids and teen clubs run free structured programming every day. When the training is done, there's plenty of ship left to explore.
Fred played professional soccer across three continents, including five seasons at D.C. United, two at Melbourne Victory and Melbourne City FC, and a final chapter with the Philadelphia Union (2014–2015).
After retiring, he moved straight into coaching at the Union Academy, serving as head coach at the U-12, U-14, and first-team levels from 2016 through 2024, before rejoining Philadelphia Union II as assistant coach in 2025.

He holds a Master’s degree in Sports Directorship (2023–2024) and brings deep operational expertise to everything Skilsinho runs on and off the pitch.
American Red Cross certified in Adult CPR/AED.
Training sessions, small-sided games, and futsal clinics will be scheduled around port days to make the most of every day at sea.
Full session schedule and age-group breakdowns to be confirmed closer to departure.
